It’s the gift that keeps on giving. Ultra168 Supporters Club have two more races to choose from:
- The Blackall 100 run in the lush bush land of Queensland
- Or the Quad-busting Alpine 100 in the glorious mountains of Victoria
Both events have signed up this week to offer our members some seriously good discounts on their race entry, discounts you can’t get elsewhere. If you want to sign up to our membership, CLICK HERE and select which paid level you’d like.
Alpine Challenge 100s
The Alpine 100s is regarded as one of the toughest, most challenging, most spectacular and most rewarding mountain trail run in Australia – definitely on a par with Northburn over in New Zealand. The 100 mile course runners takes in 6 major climbs with over 7,000m of ascent and descent including Mt Feathertop, Mt Hotham, The Fainters, Spione Kopje, Mt Nelse and Victoria’s highest mountain, Mt Bogong and 4 river crossings. The 100km involves over 4,000m of ascent and descent.
Standard entry into this race is $300, with an early bird entry of $265. The great news for Ultra168 Supporters is that you can grab an entry into this race for just $235, up until the end of September. If you’re thinking about running this race, sign up with us to get your discount.
Note, there is no discount on 60km race entry.
Blackall 100
The Blackall 100 up in Queensland is an altogether different kettle of fish. What it lacks in elevation on Alpine, it gains in toughing it out in the hot and humid lushness of the Queensland bush. Both the 50km and 100km start at the Mapleton QCCC facility and will run along the Sunshine Coast Great Walk and other sections of the Mapleton National Park covering the Blackall Range.
Ultra168 Supporters can get 20% off the standard entry fee from June 30th. Currently, early bird entries are on offer and Ultra168 Supporters will get 10% off that fee if you wish to sign up right now. In short, it doesn’t matter when Supporters sign up, you still get the same price!
