Readers of our website will have seen that a few months ago we introduced the Ultra168 Supporter initiative. This allows people the opportunity to sign up with us and become a paid supporter in return for some great discounts on races and gear from some of the great partners that we work with.
Well, in a bid to get to know our readers even better than we do now, we’re introducing a free subscriber service. Yep, absolutely free.
As a subscriber, you will not get access to the Supporters Club deals, that still remains a paid for service.
What it does is guarantee that you can keep reading all of the content on Ultra168. Nothing changes as far as you the reader is concerned, you simply subscribe, it takes about 60 seconds and its free! Even if you don’t wish to subscribe just yet, that’s cool – you can still access Ultra168, but we will be making some small changes in the future.
Why are we doing this?
There are two reasons why we’re doing this. The first is so that we can start to better understand exactly who you are, where you’re from and what you like. That will enable us to produce even better articles and content suited to those who subscribe. We have a whole host of great writers and athletes that contribute to the website. We’re at the stage now where having written nearly 700 articles over the last four years, we want to specialise further and make sure that the content and articles we produce fits the bill for those people.
Secondly, as a result of specialising, there will be a time whereby certain articles, training videos and plans, along with other great content will only be available to those who subscribe to the website and current Ultra168 Supporters. If you’re not a subscriber, you won’t be able to access the content in the future. But subscribing to the website is free, so we’re hoping this is not an onerous task!
What if I’m already an Ultra168 Supporter?
If you’re a current Ultra168 Supporter, you do not need to do a thing. Your current membership gives you access to everything already. You pays your monies and you gets your service!
How do I subscribe?
Like we said, it’s completely free to subscribe – all you have to do is add a few details, takes about 60 seconds and you’re done! If you don’t want to subscribe just yet, that’s cool too, nothing will change yet. But as we said, there will be a time further down the track that certain articles and content will only be available to access if you subscribe to the website. If that’s the case, you’ll be able to read the first paragraph and then will be an option to simply subscribe for free and you can carry on reading the article.
Hit the (big) green button below, and when you get to the membership levels page, select Ultra168 Subscriber (the free one) and off you go!
