Hammer Nutrition discount for all Ultra168 readers

As you know (and can see on our website), Ultra168 is part of Team Hammer Nutrition Australia, and Hammer has very kindly offered to provide our readers with a 7% discount on all products on the Hammer Australia website.

All you need to do is put the code ‘168’ in the coupon code box when you get to checkout and hit recalculate for your discount – it’s as simple as that. There’s no expiry on the code (that we know of yet!), so feel free to use it as many times as you wish. If you’d like any advice or have any questions about Hammer products, just drop us a line. We all use them and know them well, so happy to answer any questions people may have about their use in ultras.

We hope you find the code useful and would like to thank everyone who reads the site for their support, as well as all of the responses we’ve received¬† in the four months that we’ve been operational, so thanks for your continued support and kind comments.

*We’re not paid by Hammer to say any of this, we use their products because we believe in them. Pure and simple.

I'm a mediocre runner who can bat above his average when I train hard. A man of extremes, I do enjoy everything life offers and consider it an absolute pleasure just to be able to put one foot in front of the other and let my mind wander somewhere different.

  1. I have been looking into the product range of Hammer Nutrition to find the best product combination for ‘normal’ Marathon training but couldn’t quite decide what I really want to try. Prepetuem seems to be overkill since my training runs are never longer than 3 hours (not yet) and the Marathon will hopefully not take a lot longer either. But I want something drinkable in addition to gels. And I’m also looking for something to help with recovery. Recoverite seems to fit in here. Any thoughts from frequent users?

    1. Hi Daniel, for training runs up to three hours you can use HEED and a gel or two plus endurolytes if it’s hot. If its cool you could get by on water and a few Hammer gels, or HEED only. let us know how you get on and also if you have any other questions.

  2. I’ve just tried the promo code of 168 on the Hammer site and it doesn’t appear to work anymore. Has it now expired?

    1. Hi Kieron,

I’ve just tried to get onto the Hammer website and it’s not loading, so maybe there’s an issue with it. I’ll drop them a note and see what’s up as it hasn’t expired as far as we know. I’ll come back to you.

      1. Thank you Dan! It’s all working now and I got my Perpetuem order in. I’ll be trialling it for the GNW 100 and hopefully using it seriously for the Coast to Kosci. Cheers, Kieron
