Ultra168 is a group of Sydney-based ultra marathon runners who share a passion for running on trails, as well as reporting on what’s happening in the world of trail and ultra running in general.
First and foremost, we all enjoy running for what it is. Mates that get together on a Saturday, and who enjoy running through some of the most amazing scenery in Australia. If there’s something you’d like to see featured on this website, drop us a line and we’ll have a chat.
Our aim is to make this website one of Australia’s best resources for trail and ultra running. Be it advice for running your first ultra marathon, through to insights from some of the World’s leading runners, as well as what training we’re up to each week. We want Ultra168 to be your first port of call for all things to do with Australian ultra running.
Race Directors and those involved with running

Whilst we know about quite a lot of the events that are going on in and around Australia, we don’t know about them all, so we’d encourage race directors and others to drop us a note with information and results too.
Manufacturers and Distributors
If you have gear that you’d like us to review, again get in touch on the email address below and we can arrange to receive any gear that you’d like us to look at and review. We’re all very experienced trail runners and we give all our gear a thorough testing over many hundreds of kilometres on the trails week in and week out. We’ll find out if it’s unbreakable or not! We’re not governed by advertising and we remain impartial for all our reviews. If it’s great we’ll tell you. If it’s not, we’ll say why. As per our rules, and where possible all gear sent to us will be returned if appropriate to ensure impartiality for reviews.
